TARO STEM STIR FRY
INGREDIENTS: Taro stem:200gm Grind to a coarse paste... Grated coconut:3/4cup Chopped shallots:10-12 Chopeed green chillies:2-3 For tempering: Coconut oil:2tbs Mustard seeds:2tsp Dry red chillies:2 Curry leaves:a few METHOD: *Wash the taro stems&trim off the ends,as u do for drumstick veg.Peel the outer skin&chop them finely. *Sprinkle some salt,mix well and keep aside for 5mints.Then Squeeze out all the water from it. *Heat the oil in a kadai.Splutter mustard seeds,add dry red chilis n curry leaves&fry till crisp. *Add taro stem,coconut paste n enough salt&mix well. *Cook covered for 3-4 mints,stir in between *Serve hot with rice links: TARO PLANT related searches : Taro
