Soak kodampuli in 1 cup warm water and set aside for for 3 to 5 minutes.
Clean fish neatly and cut into 1 cm cubes.Wash again with gambhoge water/kudampuli. Grind together ginger,garlic,shallots,grated coconut and turmeric together.
In a clay pot,splutter mustard seeds in coconut oil,followed by curry leaves and dried chilli.
Mix the coarsely ground coconut and green chillies with fish and kodampuli taken out of the water and add to clay pot .
Pour 1 cup water to the fish mixture. Bring to boil rapidly. Cook for 20 minutes till all the water goes off. Take off the fire when the water dries up completely.
