The Bermuda Triangle
Today I have to make my way back to the dreaded DMV. I tried to make an appointment online but the first available was at the end of July??!! Is it just me or does the DMV represent everything we know and abhor on this good earth? And I’ve got the triple wammy. I not only have to wait in the line for two hours to get both a California drivers license AND my car registered…but I also have to pay $250 because everything in California is more expensive than the rest of the world. To be fair, I’m being a little dramatic because I could surely go right now and get there right as they open at 8:00 and, therefore, skip the two hour line. But…..I need to wash and blow dry my hair first. I mean, this new drivers license photo is going to follow me for years. I can’t look all deranged with the I just rolled out of bed look. You know? So, moral to the story is this: if I don’t come back you will know what happened and you will know where to look for me. The DMV has that Bermuda Triangle effect sometimes. On to better things. ![]() Siggi’s sent me some samples of their yogurt to try and I couldn’t wait to break one open this morning to make some overnight oats. I had never tried Siggi’s before, honestly because greek yogurt is expensive and this brand seemed to be even more expensive than the rest. I always pondered what could make Siggi’s so darn expensive as I picked up my lowly container of cheap grocery store brand greek yogurt instead. You know why Siggi’s is more expensive than Fage? Because it’s CREAMER! This yogurt is, by far, the thickest greek yogurt out there. I mean, I’m talkin’ that it was hard to stir this yogurt with a spoon—that’s how thick it is. This ain’t no Chobani, that’s for sure. And just like me and my unfortunate expensive tastes, this yogurt is by far my new favorite out there. ![]() DMV! DMV! DMV!
