Waffles topped with yogurt!

Good morning Merry Sunshines! How?s the day?

You know what?s funny? Every time I say good morning to you I always think of the people on the east coast and I look at my clock to see if I made it before they?re eating lunch.

Honest truth: I don?t make it very often.

What?s a girl to make when there?s no oats?

I know I had pancakes yesterday, but hey? we all have oats days and days on end so why not breakfasty breads?!

Maybe you all have done it before but topping waffles with greek yogurt is my new favorite waffle topping. I saw it on Red Head Recipes.

These were quick waffles made with 1/2 cup Bisquick Mix. Then I topped them with a package of Athenos Greek Yogurt mixed with honey. There?s a little sprinkle of Post?s Honey Bunches of Oats for good measure.

How do you eat these waffles, you ask? Like pizza

Of course I had two mugs of joe with a splash 1% milk. Gotta get the day started off right.

First, I have to get my booty to school for lecture then discussion section. I?m having a week of some pretty serious senioritis.

Second, I have to get back for practice from 6-8pm. The girls will be really upset about practice being so late. Because we played Alisal High School at Alisal last night, the boys will play Alisal at our home (Salinas High) tonight. They?ll all want to go to the JV and Varsity games really badly.

Thirdly, I need to find a time to work on my fitness. Oh the day seems too short already.
