Observations

How to store these filled waffles?
We recommend that you eat them as soon as you've poached the whipped cream. You can keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 or 2 days, just topped with chocolate, hazelnuts and blueberries.

Can I replace the filling?
Of course!
-If you're a fan of speculaas, you can fill the cavities with crumbled speculaas and speculaas paste, and top with whipped cream and cookie pieces.
-If you're a banoffee fan, you can fill the cavities with caramel and speculaas, then cover with chantilly and banana pieces.
-If you're a fan of tiramisu, make our famous choco-coffee spread, fill the cavities with it, cover with chantilly and grate chocolate over the top or sprinkle with cocoa powder.

As you can see, you can easily fill your waffles with inspiration from your favorite desserts! Vary the pleasures by using seasonal fruits. Tell us your favorite combination in the comments!

Can we use classic waffles?
Of course, you can find our recipe here.

How do I toast the hazelnuts?
Place the hazelnuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 390°F (200°C). Leave to cool. Remove the skin from the hazelnuts by rolling them under your hands.
