Ingredients

4 servings
- 2 eggs

- 1 1/3 cup buttermilk

- 1 1/3 cup flour

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the eggs with half the milk. Whisk the dry ingredients together then add to the eggs. Stir until the batter is smooth.

Step 2

Add the rest of the milk and the melted butter and mix well.

Step 3

Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Pour into your preheated waffle iron and serve with strawberry or raspberry jam.

I very recently found out that my family is not only Native American and Scottish, but Sweedish and Norwegen. So I have been looking uo recipies of every day foods from both Sweeden and norwega. As it turns out this recipie is very simple that i can cook with my entire family. Even my small cousins. I may be only 14yrs old, but i am proud of my heratige. No matter how completly different they be.
