Stir in all remaining ingredients except egg whites just until combined.
In a small bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold egg whites into waffle mixture.
Pour batter into center of hot waffle iron.
Bake according to waffle iron directions or until golden brown.
