Number of serving: 2
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast (250 gr)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil (or vegetable oil)

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp fresh ginger (or ground ginger)

1 tsp sesame seeds

Some leaves of fresh coriander


  • Step 1 - Honey Soy Chicken
    The marinade : In small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil and ginger.
  • Step 2 - Honey Soy Chicken
    Cut your chicken breasts into strips. Place them into the bowl. Turn the chicken around in the sauce to make sure it gets all coated.
  • Step 3 - Honey Soy Chicken
    Wrap some cling film over the bowl and refrigerate overnight.
    If you want to cook this recipe the same day, allow the chicken to macerate for at least 1h30m, tossing occasionally to keep them covered with the juice.
  • Step 4 - Honey Soy Chicken

    Frying pan : Place chicken breasts & sauce in the pan and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side.

    Oven : Preheat oven to 210ºC. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes.

    Grilling or barbecue are also a great option!
  • Step 5 - Honey Soy Chicken
    Serve with white rice. Garnish with chopped coriander and add as well a bit of toasted sesame seeds over top. SO GOOD!
