Ingredients

Number of serving: 1
3 cups. rolled oats

1 cup. whole wheat or all-purpose flour

1/2 cup. vegetable oil

1/2 cup. honey

2 teaspoons vanilla

3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3/4 teaspoons salt

3/4 teaspoons baking soda

1-1 1/2 cups combination of dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Toast the rolled oats on a baking sheet in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
  • This will make the granola crunchy instead of chewy.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool.
  • It's easier to cut the granola while still warm.
