Whisky Peanut Bananas
I actually wanted to make some banana flambe but somehow diverted into this creation of whisky peanut bananas. If whisky is not available, you can use the same amount of brandy or even rum. A dessert which can be prepared in a jiffy and if you like it chilled, leave it in the fridge for about 1/2 hour before tasting. Ingredients 1 large banana (160g - sliced) 1 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp whisky 30g slightly crushed peanuts Method: Heat up a pan and when heated add the butter. Keep the heat low. Once melted all the ingredients except the sliced banana pieces and peanuts. Cook for just 3-4min until you get a thick sauce. Arrange the bananas on a serving plate and pour the sauce over. Spinkle in the crushed peanuts. Thats it, ready to be eaten or served.
