It's ready in 5 minutes, super affordable and will win over even those who turn up their noses at sardines. Get ready to change your mind and your level.
The ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon of mustard
- 1 oz of pickles
- 1 can of sardines (5 oz)
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 tomato
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- drops of lemon
- salt (to taste)
- drops of Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Preparation:
- Chop the onion, tomato and pickle into small cubes. Set aside. Drain the liquid from the can of sardines and mash with a fork. Set aside.
- Put the mayonnaise, lemon drops and olive oil in a bowl. Mix lightly with a fork until smooth.
- Add the two reserved parts and mix with a fork.
- Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce (optional). Season with salt to taste. Mix again.
- As a relaxed appetizer, simply place in a smaller bowl and serve with toast. As a starter, place the rim on the plate and put this pâté inside. Squeeze with a spoon, for example, and remove the ring.
- You're done!
