Giant pastel de nata
Whether you've been to Portugal or not, you've probably heard of one of its most famous sweets: pasteis de nata or pasteis de Belem. An exquisite pastry with a crispy puff pastry base and a unique filling that might remind you of flan. Since we love it so much, and we know you do too, we've decided to make a giant version, a pastel de nata in cake format that we can enjoy with family and will be much easier to share if guests come over. Much better, right? Don't hesitate and be amazed by the delicious taste of this typical Portuguese dessert.

In a saucepan, combine milk, vanilla sugar, and lemon peel, and let it infuse for 10 minutes over medium heat.
In a bowl, mix corn starch and sugar.
Remove the milk from heat. Take out the lemon peel. Add the sugar and corn starch mixture and whisk very well to avoid lumps.
Add the egg yolks and mix again. Return the pot to medium heat until the cream thickens.
Place the puff pastry in the previously greased (and floured) mold.
Pour the mixture over the puff pastry and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
And there you have it! Your giant pastel de nata is ready!
