  • Grind the cashews,poppy seeds,cinnamon stick,cloves and cardamom into a smooth paste. Set aside.
  • Add chopped onions, 1 teaspoon of oil and 2 tablepsoons of water in a microwave safe bowl and cook on for 10 minutes till its tender.
  • Cut the tomatoes into pieces add little water in a microwave safe bowl and cook till its smashed.
  • Now grind separately tomatoes and the onions,garlic,ginger and green chillies into a fine paste.
  • In a non stick pan heat 1 teaspoon of oil and saute he mushroom cubes for 5 minutes. Set it aside.
  • In a same pan add 1 teaspoon of oil and saute the paneer cubes fry light brown color.Set it aside.
  • In a same pan on medium heat add the oil add bay leaves cook for a minutes and add onion paste fry for 5 minutes.
  • Now add the tomato paste and cashew paste,salt and turmeric powder and cook till oil separates. Be careful as it may splutter.
  • Add mushroom and capsicum mix well.add little water cook for 5 minutes till the mushroom are tender.
  • Now add paneer,kasoori methi stir well and cover and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Stir well and check how much gravy u want and you want more gravy means u can put water either you want tick turn of the heat.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.Remove the bay leaves before serving.
