Glutinous Rice - 500 g (Soak for 2 hours and drain)

Pork - 150 g (Cut into strips)

Season: 1 teaspoon oyster sauce/1 teaspoon soya sauce/1 teaspoon dark sauce/sesame oil)

Dried Mushroom - 70g (Soften and cut into strips)

Dried Shrimp - 50g (Washed and drain)

Shallots - 10 nos (Chop finely)

Garlic - 2 cloves (Chop finely)


Chinese Sausage - 1 no (Cut into small cubes and pan-fried till fragrant)


Fried Shallots

Chopped Spring Onion

Sliced Red Chilli


2 tablespoons Dark sauce

1 tablespoons Light sauce

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon MSG



  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil on a non-stick wok to stir fry dried shrimp till fragrant.
  • Add in chopped shallots and garlic fry till fragrant.
  • Add pork and mushroom. stir fry for 2-3 minutes till pork turn pale in colour.
  • Stir in glutinous rice and seasoning, stir thoroughly.
  • Add in 1 rice bowl of water and let it simmer till water dry up.
  • Transfer the rice into a steaming tray and steam the rice till cooked approx 15 minutes.
  • Serve with garnishing.
