5 Spice BBQ Pulled Pork - Slow Cooker
I must admit, it is heavenly to come home after a long day to a dinner that is just about done and ready to eat!
The aroma is twice as nice! I love this because it is super simple, and easy to throw in the crock pot, and let it do it's magic. Just a simple rub, time, and voila...a meal to savor! So I found this Chipotle Chile Pepper, and I have been in love with it... It's a smoky/spicy flavor that goes great on just about everything! Here are the spices - Chipotle Chile Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper {crazy easy!} Just give your butt a nice massage with the mixture of spices. {pork butt, that is} Throw it in your crock pot, set it to low and away ya go! {bless you crock pot, bless you.} After 6-8 hours you can remove the butt and shred it with two forks. It will fall apart very nicely. Like butter. Like smokey, tender, delicious butter... Throw it on a nice bun, and slather with some tasty BBQ sauce. {you can add cheese if you'd like...wow-za!} Sweet potato fries with some chipotle chile pepper?? Yes please! I have issues... 5 Spice BBQ Pulled Pork Ingredients: 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Pepper 1 tsp Onion Powder 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Chipotle Chile Powder Boston Butt Pork Roast (size varies depending on how much you need) Directions: Mix first 5 ingredients together in a small bowl. Rub Pork with spices and place in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours. Remove pork and shred with fork. Eat on a bun, bread, or by itself! related searches : Spice
