Baby steps

By Real Fit Mama (Visit website)

Did you read this last night? Regan got a new bed.

It wasn’t fail proof. I was awakened twice last night. The first time came at 12:53 when Regan needed to go potty. Ok… Let’s go.

Now back to bed.

The second time came at almost 5:00 when she woke up for no reason what so ever. Ok…let’s go.

Now back to bed.

I took my teeny tiny victory to twitter (click and you can follow me). And like MizFit (who’s always the voice of reason!) says…

That’s right lady – Baby steps!

Of course after another night of interrupted sleep I desperately needed my coffee. Who am I kidding – I always desperately need coffee!!

Then a bowl of overnight oats to make my tummy happy.

In the mix:

1/2 c old fashioned oats
1/2 c vanilla almond milk
dash of cinnamon
1/4 c frozen dark cherries
1 tbsp mini chocolate chips
1/2 scoop chia seeds
1 scoop almond, cashew, peanut butter

Linsey is not interested in oatmeal. No matter what I put in it. She was more interested in scarfing down Honey Nut Cheerios and playing with the secret decoder that came in the box.

Regan was apparently so well rested that she thought paying my bills was the best way to spend breakfast!

Go on girl! Just make sure and balance it when you’re done. ;)

What’s on the agenda for your Monday?? Work, Work, Work for me.

Every day I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America.  If I’m not there, I go to work.  ~ Robert Orben
