Easy Cheesy balls
![]() In my family, meatballs aren?t exactly favourite food, especially with kids. Which is a bit strange, most kids LOVE meatballs. Mine hate anything made minced/ground meat: from meatballs to hamburgers. The only exception is lasagna, but even then most of the meat is what you?ll find on their plates once they have finished. These little cheesey balls, instead were quite appreciated. They?re are just lovely and taste great. They are soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Accompanied with some Greek yogurt they taste fresh , perfect as finger food, a warm appetizer or as a side dish. I prepared them at lunch time, but since I was alone, I baked only one part and put the rest in the fridge. I baked and served them in the evening, as a side with grilled pork chops. The original recipe called for 150 g of arugula, but I didn?t have enough, so I added zucchini instead and the combo turned out great. Next time I?ll try making them with arugula alone to see the difference. They don?t keep the shape well during baking (they kind of open on one side) but that visual imperfection makes them even cuter (you just feel like grabbing them with your hand and popping into your mouth) and doesn?t damage the taste. related searches : Easy
