Gajar ki kheer Ingredients 1/2 kg Carrots1 cup Ground rice 2 kg Milk 1 1/2 cup Sugar 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder Kewra essence as required ½ ounce Khoya Almonds and pistachios as required Method Wash and boil the carrots in a sauce pan. Then blend them to a fine paste.Heat the milk, over a medium low flame, in a separate saucepan and add the rice.When the rice is done add the carrot paste, sugar and cardamom powder. Cook for 10 minutes. When the mixture slightly thickens turn the flame off.Add the kewra and khoya and gently mixes.Pour into a dish and garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios. related searches : Gajar
