500g granny smith apples, peeled & sliced

75g butter
150g GF plain flour

Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
Cook apples in microwave with 1 tablespoon of water in a Pyrex dish until softened slightly.
Stir in ginger or cinnamon to taste (A little sugar can also be added if you like it sweeter).
Rub butter, GF flour & sugar together with fingers.

In ovenproof dish add apples then top with flour mixture.
Cook 20min or until topping is brown (or cook 6-7 mins in microwave & finish by browning in oven).
