Healthy Cutlet:

This is also called as Hara Bara cutlet since we add most of the green veggies like Cilantro,Methi/Fenugreek leaves ,Carrot ,Peas,Corn

which have got nutrients in it self .and as usual when i say Healthy cutlet its a Shallow fry even u can Skip frying in an oil and  can bake .for 12- 15 minutes or until cooked .

You can Prepare ahead this mixture and Can shallow fry Before guests and can Serve this Dish .

The Main attraction of this dish is Oats which is good in fiber so i always make a point to add in my dishes .

You can have this as a snack item . or can also be served as dinner along with the soup.

In order to Present well before the guests you can take cookie cutter and cut into hearts shape which is indeed a good Presentation.



Directions To Prepare:

Potato- 3 medium boiled and smashed .

Carrot-1/2 cup grated.

Corn- 2 Tbsp

Peas- 2 Tbsp

Onions-1/4 cup chopped finely

Cilantro- Few Sprigs chopped finely

Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 Tsp

Corn Flour- 4 Tbsp

Salt-To Taste

Garam masala- 1 Tsp

Green chillies-3 finely chopped (optional)



Mix all the ingredients as mentioned above , i skipped green chillies and added more of Garam masala .

if you want to add Green chillies You can Grind to a smooth paste and add or add Red chilly powder according to your taste.

If you see any watery while mixing then add more of corn flour to it because corn flour is good binding agent

Prepare cutlets from the above mixture and form nice rounds and press it with your palm to form a cutlet.

Dust with Oats instead of Breadcrumbs Which adds crunchy and tasty to our cutlet.

Heat it on high  flame and shallow fry with little bit oil and fry these cutlets. and if you feel its not cooked enough

You can even bake it for 15 minutes in the oven at 350 F.
Serve these cutlets with Green chilly sauce or Ketchup/Red chilly Sauce.











As soon as i prepare this its gone with  in few minutes.



Tips:Some times if you don't have all these veggies then you can Prepare with Potato it self .I didn't add Fenugreek  leaves this time .But you can use what ever veggies you like .

You can use this item as a Party starter
