Have you been relying on dried shitake mushrooms lately? 


I have.  And unless I happen to be in Fayetteville where I can pop in to Ozark Natural Foods or schedule a vegetable delivery from Old Soul Organics that includes shitakes, I pretty much have to rely on the dried source. 


Good news, our window of opportunity for fresh shitake mushrooms has opened!


I know where you can buy by weight at $4.97 a pound.  Last night I needed 11 mushrooms and it cost me a whopping $0.55!


$0.55!


Where?  At the Pinnacle Station Local Market in Rogers (corner of Promenade Blvd. and New Hope Road).


Oh, did you just say that you are looking for an easy, creamy, and satisfying shitake mushroom soup with thyme recipe?  I have one! Look for a posting soon!!!
