Homemade Hot Chocolate
Oh what do you do when you feel sick and you need some comfort?? Your husband whips you up a batch of homemade hot chocolate! :) I have been sick lately so my wonderful husband made me some homemade hot chocolate. We have it every winter. It is now starting to get cold . . . the lows have been around 33 degrees. There is nothing better than a nice cup of hot chocolate. This boot mug is also special to me. I have had it since I was a little girl. I remember drinking hot chocolate out of this mug since I lived on the farm. Last Christmas I smuggled it to Alabama. Daddy didn't mind because it has always been special to me. I would seriously cry if something happened to it. The other day I was in Kohl's and I found some more boot mugs but they just are not the same as my childhood mug. I hope it lasts forever! So thanks go to Dan for taking care of me and making fabulous hot chocolate and thanks go to my Daddy for many wonderful memories on the farm including this hot chocolate mug! :)
![]() Oh I guess you would like the recipe . . . It's simple! All you need is: Carnation Instant Nonfat Dry Milk Nestle Coffee Mate Original Creamer Nestle Nesquick Chocolate Powder (Brands matter to me). It just tastes better this way. I have tried the generic brands and it just doesn't turn out the same. All you do is combine equal parts of all three ingredients and then you end up with hot chocolate mix! I like to keep mine in a nice glass container on the counter so its handy but still looks good. When you are ready for some hot chocolate you just heat up a glass of water and combined the desired amount of mix and your ready to enjoy! :) related searches : Homemade
