Horn OK please

By Pomme the Great Apple (Visit website)

-Horn OK Please!!-

Don’t play play with Indian drivers.

(Like, seriously, wikipedia has an article dedicated to this whole “Horn OK Please” thing.)

If you wanna experience the ride of your life, simply hop onto one of the many auto-rickshaws (a.k.a auto) easily found all across India.

I had my thrills on one of those little machines in Mumbai.

It lasted for almost an hour as our destination was quite a distance away.

The first ten minutes of the ride?

It was exhilarating, the way the little machine speeds haphazardly as though they were going through a Brownian motion on the congested streets on Mumbai.

After the ten minutes on the auto?

You’re wishing that you’d reach soon, you’re begging it to stop, you can’t wait to kiss the ground because it was such a bumpy ride, you’d probably can’t feel the existence of your butt anymore.

Upon reaching our destination, we scrambled out onto the streets and stepped into Daksha’s beauty parlour.

My little friends getting their eyebrows threaded too

Eyebrow threading for only…. $0.60?!

What’s not to love? I’m loving Mumbai already!!!

And look what I’d found! My all time favourite Indian snack- Pani Poori!

It’s all over Mumbai!

Seeing this makes me reminisce all the nonsense that me and my Indian colleagues were up to back when we were still in training.

Omg. The stupid role play can still make me laugh so hard. (inside joke :p)

? ? ? ? ? ?

Now, what’s travelling without some shopping!

Here’s what I’ve gotten! Really, really cheaply priced everything! My belt was only Rs. 50 ($1.46)!! Meg Cabot chick lit Rs. 199!!

Oh, look!! They even have pani puri flavoured Nissin cup noodles! :D

I didn’t really shop a lot this time around because, I don’t know, I was trying to be wary of my spending??

But I seriously wish I’d shopped more!!

I could’ve gotten more of these bangles and the super colorful Punjabi suits from Linking Road!

I love them so, so much because they are so vibrant in color!

And then, I found the best hair shampoo, ever! ?

Mumbai is love. :)
