Kapha Churna Stimulating Spice Mix

Product Review:  Kapha Churna Stimulating Spice Mix

I love experimenting with spices.  A few of years ago, while trying to figure out my Ayurvedic dosha (these days, I'm Vatta/Kapha, btw), I came across the Mapi Ayurvedic website where I found Kapha Churna spice mix--a unique blend of ginger, black pepper, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, turbinado sugar and salt.  I tried it in a few dishes and was very pleased with the flavor it added.  I've used it on everything from over easy eggs, soups, roasted chicken and fish, french fries and so much more.

One day I got an idea to try it in my Detox Chicken Salad because of the antioxidant properties of many of the spices in the blend and it was incredible!  I loved the result so much I sent the recipe to Rachael Ray (don't believe she ever used it, though).  Anyway, this spice blend has a pungent, spicy and sweet flavor that will work well in many of your recipes--from plain to exotic!  It tastes great and is good for folks with slow, sluggish digestion and circulation or who have cool body temperature.  This mix will get you warmed up, get your blood (and other things) moving, and will be the perfect addition to your savory and sweet dishes.  I'm giving Kapha Churna Stimulating Spice Mix 5 stars! *****
