Preparation
- Cut the pumpkin into thin slices (about 5 mm) and remove the skin.
- Wrap the pumpkin slices with kitchen paper to remove excess water.
- Bake the pumpkin slices 5 minutes at 320°F (160°C) in an air fryer ("air fryer" mode).
- After this time has passed, place the pumpkin slices in a bowl and season with oil (spray oil can also be used), salt, plenty of pepper and mix well.
- Place the pumpkin slices back in the basket of the air fryer and bake at 350°F (180° C) ("air fryer" mode) for 23 minutes, turning them every 5 to 6 minutes (more on baking in the tips section below).
- Once ready, spread them out on a plate and let them cool a bit to firm up. The pumpkin chips in air fryer are ready!
