Karvepaku (Curry Leaves)Pulusu and an Award
Kids will love this Dish. It would stay up to 10 days .Prearing this dish Best results are obtained if You use Sesame Oil. Ingredients: Curry Leaves -1 Cup Corainder Seeds- 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds -1 Tsp Dry Red Chillies-4 Garlic - 1 Whole Garlic Onions-1 Tamarind - 3 Tsp Jaggery-2 Tsp Salt -1 Tsp Oil -1/2 cup Turmeric-Pinch Directions To Prepare: 1) Take a Tawa and Add Curry leaves and fry them and Keep it aside 2) Take a Pan Add Oil,Corainder,Cumin ,Dry Red chillies let them cool completely then Grind to a Paste . 3) Add onions ,2 Garlic pods while grinding do not add water and blend well to a nice paste 4) In a Pan Add 1/2 cup Oil Add 2 Red chillies and 1 whle Garlic may be arund 10 Garlic pods add grounded paste 5) Let it fry for a while and Oil raises up and add salt and jaggery Tamarind juice,Turmeric mix it well with little bit water . Transfer to a bowl . This dish Goes well With Plain Rice ,Chapati's and Even We can Use this for Idlis as well. Its also a Healthy dish as the Main component of the dish is Curry Leaves If the Kids dont like To eat Curry leaves which is a Good source of Vitamin "A" then You can Try this Dish . Tips: Do not Add water while Grinding to a paste and Dont be Scared by looking at number of Garlics used , When you fry these garlic in Oil Hot content of Garlic goes away .. You will love the Taste of Garlic When fried in a oil .i used Sesame Oil. Everytime i prepare this it doesnt even stay for a day ... but storage of this dish lasts up to 10 Days.
