Malai curry (Punjabi cuisine )
You need 4 tablespoon malai, thick and fresh 1 big onion, chopped 2 medium - sized tomatoes, chopped 2 green chillies, chopped A piece of ginger, sliced 1 teaspoon coriander leaves, chopped 8 - 10 cashew nuts Salt to taste 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 2 -3 teaspoon ghee Method Heat ghee in a pan , add onions. Fry till they are golden in color. Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies and ginger. Fry till tomatoes are done.
Finally, add salt, red chilli powder , turmeric powder, cashew nuts and malai. Cook for 4 - 5 minutes. Keep stirring till the cooking is done. Sprinkle garam masala power and coriander leaves. Serve hot with parathas. related searches : Malai
