Pita Pizzas II
If you’re curious why this post is called “Pita Pizzas II,” check out this post. It was my turn to make the “family dinner” tonight, so I chose one of my favorite, easy-to-prepare meals: pita pizzas!
Pita pizzas are the easiest (and perhaps healthiest?) way to eat pizza. You start with a pita, add marinara sauce, shredded cheese, and your choice of toppings, and then pop it into the oven for about 15 minutes. Check out the complete directions here. Tonight, for toppings, we had broccoli, red pepper, onions, and turkey pepperoni.
I also prepared a big salad for the “fam.”
Everyone seemed to enjoy making their own pita pizzas. I love “designing” my own!
Marie had fun making her pita pizza!
Pita pizzas hot from the oven! Mmmmmm!
My pizza was delish!
I’ve been seriously slacking in the vegetable department lately, so I loved tonight’s veggie-packed dinner! I needed ‘em!
The guys just decided to make banana-peanut butter smoothies for dessert, so I’m 99% sure I’ll end up having one too! Good night, blog friends!
