Sammies Make Good Breakfast

If you read last night?s post then you know I have a BIG decision to make and for an update: I still haven?t made it for sure. Honestly, I think I know what the right answer is, I?m just afraid for that to be the final answer. I?m going to marinate in it some more, but I do need to make a decision by tonight.


But these posts are supposed to be about food! Lets talk

I made a? Breakfast Sandwich. My stomach is feeling so much better and I really think I?m over the hump. I kept it all pretty bland and safe, but it tasted so much better than plain white bread and crackers.

First I toasted an Oroweat Sandwich Thin, then I whisked two egg whites with salt and pepper and fried it into a large pancake. I pan fried some 2 small sweet peppers and then topped with shredded cheese. Put under the broiler for a few minutes and voila!

Oh amazing! It?s such a yumalicious breaky! My tummy is very very happy. I paired it with a Starbucks Via Iced Coffee with a splash of almond milk, and some fresh strawberries.

Can we talk about these strawberries for a minute?!!! Aren?t they beautiful?! One thing I love about living in the Salinas Valley is that its where they grow strawberries. These ones tasted ah-maz-ing! And I have a bushel of them, literally. Along with some raspberries, I feel some baking coming on.
