Simple Chai Tea
Chai tea is traditionally enjoyed in India and Nepal, but versions of the drink are now found in coffee shops the world over. Homemade chai tea is best, as you have the freedom to adjust sweet and spice as you like. This version is simple, with only four ingredients. If you have fresh ginger root on hand (I did not), use 1 one-inch piece, peeled. Then just drain the ginger before serving. I'll be experimenting with different versions of this calming drink as the colder months creep in.
Difficulty Level: Easy What you need: 2 cups plain soy milk 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1 tbsp. freshly brewed black tea 1 tbsp. maple syrup What to do: related searches : Simple
