Cheese omelette, quick and easy!
Heat up your frying pan to prepare your best omelette in no time! Nothing is better and easier to make than an omelette for breakfast, brunch or just for lunch accompanied by a salad for a balanced meal ready in just a few minutes. And for even more delicacy, we chose to add grated cheese for a melting result!

Preparation
- Break your eggs in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs with a fork.
- Add the grated cheese, some salt and pepper to taste and mix again.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Pour the eggs and cook for some minutes depending on your taste.
- Fold the omelette and put it on a plate. Sprinkle with some chopped chives to decorate.
Observations
Which pan for an omelet
Use a medium to large nonstick skillet to cook the omelet. Make sure the pan is hot enough before adding the eggs.
Be careful when cooking
Let the omelette cook over medium heat for a few minutes, turning if necessary, until cooked through but still soft inside. Be careful not to let the omelette overcook, it will be rubbery.
Creamy omelet
If you want an even tastier omelette add a spoonful of fresh cream to your mixture before cooking.
What is the best cheese to use?
Here we used grated Emmental but you can use Comté or grated mozzarella for example!
