Snow Ice Cream
We rarely get the fluffy, white, clean snow up in DFW but today our backyard looked like a wonderland and so I took the opportunity to try to make the fabled Snow Ice Cream that I keep hearing about from those who live north of the mason dixon line. Here's my recipe:
5 1/2 cups snow (put a bowl out to collect as it falls) 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk 1 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 teaspoon almond extract In a stainless steel mixing bowl, mix the snow, milk, and extract together. Then transfer the mixture into a small glass pyrex bowl and place in the freezer for a minimum of three hours and voila! Snow Ice cream! Hope you enjoy the snow as much as my two puppies!
