In a saucepan, add the butter and the condensed milk. Mix over medium heat for about 15 minutes to thicken the mixture. The dough should pull away from the sides of the saucepan.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and incorporate 3.5 oz of grated coconut. Pour the mixture into a dish and let it cool.
Form little balls with the dough and roll them in the grated coconut.
And there you have it, your coconut brigadeiros are ready!
Observations
You can place the dough in the fridge to cool it down faster, but wait until it cools a bit first.
