Lentil Salad
![]() Lentil Salad I love lentils but due to the summer heat, eating them as a soup is impossible. So I decided for a lentil salad. Served cold it tastes juicy and refreshing. Preparation time: 20 minutes Easy recipe Ingredients: 250 gram dried lentils 1 large red onion 4 large carrots 4 cloves of garlic juice of a lemon a spoon of honey Salt, pepper, cumin, olive oil, a bay leave a soup cube Preparation : Soak the lentils over night in water. Drain the lentils and vegetables. Chop the vegetables finely and put aside. Remove the skin form the garlic and squash to a paste. Add the lemon juice, honey, cumin salt and pepper and mix well. Now add some olive oil. Your sauce is ready! Mix the lentils, the vegetables and the sauce together and let the salad soak for a while before serving.
