The Perfect Cream Puff

By I Heart My Bakes (Visit website)

I was quite afraid to attempt choux pastry partly because of what people say about failures and disasters, partly because of I have never tasted cream puffs before. Don't laugh. I am serious. When it comes to choosing what I want to eat, I am never adventurous. I always stick to what I grow up eating, what I am familiar with. Nothing quite fancy.

Getting myself into blogging makes me learn to eat new dishes and try new bakings. With the addition of looking at what other bloggers post on their blogs, the international and exotic food to-do-list becomes longer and lonnger.

This is the first time I am making choux pastry, and also the first time eating it. It is hollow in the centre. The pastry is slightly crispy outside. Eating it just as it is is quite boring, I would say. But once the cream patisserie and whipped cream is filled within the cream puff shells, trust me, your eye balls will drop (Okay, not so serious, but you get me. It's nice).

What about your say on these wonderful little shells?
