    Pour the sugar and water into a saucepan over low/medium heat and wait for the caramel to form. Stir if necessary.

    Mix together eggs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, cream and milk. Set aside.

    Start by beating the egg whites until stiff, then add the sugar little by little. Reserve the resulting meringue.

You can keep it for a week in the refrigerator wrapped in cling film.

Can you freeze choco flan?
It is not recommended to freeze a flan unfortunately.

Can we replace cocoa?
You can replace the cocoa with:
- ground coffee in the same quantity
-flour in the same quantity and vanilla extract
-flour and flavoring of your choice
- grated coconut

Can we make a flan with other flavors?
You can make other blanks such as:
-the coconut flan by replacing the cream and milk with coconut cream
-the chocolate flan by adding unsweetened cocoa powder
