Tilgulache Ladoo / Sesame Seeds Ladoo
This ladoo is prepared On the Sankranti day in Maharashtra .This ladoo is prepared from Til (sesame) and Gul (jaggery) which warms your body. Ingredients:- Sesame seeds/ Til - 2 cups Groundnuts / Shengadana - 1 cup Jaggery /Gud - 2 1/2 cups Dry Coconut - 1/2 cup Method:- 1) Dry Roast Sesame seeds.Remove it in plate and allow them to cool down. 2) Dry Roast Groundnuts separately .Remove it in separate plate and after they cool remove their skin off. 3) Lastly roast grated dry coconut. 4) Grate or powder the Jaggery. 5) First Grind the sesame seeds to coarse Powder in a mixer. 6) Then add groundnuts and grind them into powder in a mixie. 7) Then add jaggery and dry coconut in it and all together grind this mixture in a mixie till they are well combined. 8) When you grind this mixture in a mixie ,it becomes little oily which helps in binding a ladoo . 9) Make small ladoos of this mixture and store in airtight container.
