Super simple pasta recipe with cherry tomatoes, perfect for lunch or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Number of serving: 3
500g whole wheat penne

300 g red and yellow cherry tomatoes

3 garlic cloves

4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

basil leaves

parmesan

salt

black pepper

Preparation

  • Boil the penne according to the instructions on the package.
  • In a deep pan add the olive oil with the chopped garlic and let it brown slightly, then add the cherry tomatoes cut in half.
  • Allow to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add the drained pasta, basil leaves, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
