Tropical fruits in Malaysia ? Cempedak

Aug-Sept months are the season for cempedak fruit. Cempedak fruit is similar and often associated with jack fruit, but cempedak is juicier, and tastier. It is my favourite especially when it is fried with flour – cempedak goreng!!

I regreted that I didn?t have the chance to eat this at home. My parents did buy a whole cempedak fruit once, but it was still raw!



I was just unlucky I guess. Will have to wait till next year to try my luck again!
