Weekend Updates and New Meal Plan

By (Visit website)

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend-I know I did :) Friday night, Gregg and I decided to lay low and just pick up some dinner from Whole Foods, the Metro Market and Alterra. I know what your thinking-why did we have to go to 3 different places to get dinner??? Well, you see I wanted a salad-but the Metro Market usually has the same items as Whole Paycheck Foods but much cheaper. But, Whole Foods has better sushi, so we went to both. And I am sure you are wondering about the stop at Alterra for soup-Alterra has their seasonal pumpkin soup and I really wanted to try it so we did! It was pretty good, but pretty heavy-not sure I would get it again unless I was starving.

Saturday, I went to the West Allis Farmers for the first time ever! Let me tell ya-I was in love. There were so many vendors and so many great things to purchase. I came home with 3 huge bags of goodies-but that’s a whole different post where I will show you how I make my veggies last a really long time. But, for now, here are some pics from the market:

After the Farmer’s Market, I was off to my moms house for her annual Bon Fire. Let’s just say that I am glad Saturdays are my day-off from ww. I had my fair share of potatoes and sloppy joes :)

On Sunday, we spent the day with our friend Jon watching the football games and having a few drinks. We also orders a pizza for dinner-sorry no pics :( Last night, I am pretty sure I was sleeping by 8:30a. I was crazy tired because the night of the bonfire, I only got 4 hours of sleep which clearly is not enough.

This morning, I woke up at 5:30a giving me a total of 9hrs of sleep-much needed. I feel completely awake and ready to go today! With that being said, I made sure to pack a breakfast that would keep me full until lunch. My breakfast consisted of:

1 honeycrisp apple
1 vita muffin
1 container of probiotic yogurt
Total pts for breakfast: 4

I am sure I will be hitting up the work coffee machine and getting a cappuccino this morning (2pts).

For lunch, I decided to pack a fruit and veggie filled lunch!

Smart Ones Pasta Alfredo
Carrots
Grapes
Total: 6pts

So, that’s all I have for now-have a great Monday!
