Mangosteen and dried persimmon soup with pork

Ingredients

Number of serving: 4
1 lb pork from knuckles

4 dried persimmons

1/4 mangosteen (Lo han Kuo)

1/4 dried tangerine peel

2 slices ginger


Seasoning:

Preparation

  • Wash and remove hair from pork. Blanch in boiling water and rinse. Wash dried persimmons and Lo-Han-Kuo.
  • Soak and clean dried tangerine peel. Put pork, dried persimmons, Lo-han-kuo, dried tangerine peel and ginger in pot.
  • Add suitable amount of water. Boil over medium heat for 3 hours. Stir in seasoning. Serve hot.
