An internet pal sent me some serrano peppers from her garden this week, so I decided to try to rectify last week’s failed chili experiment. None of this quick cook in a skillet, it was time to go crock pot. This chili is a lot closer to the platonic ideal, tho as you can see I added a bit too much water. (Picture was taken after a few bowls were et.) One serrano was all I used here and that was just right. Sadly we had no worcestershire sauce in the house, which most recipes I found recommend. But this should feed me at school all week, and chili the next day is even better.
