Ingredients

Number of serving: 6
7 oz elbow macaroni

3 cups milk2 oz butter

2 oz flour

7 oz sharp cheddar

3 oz grated mozzarella

breadcrumbs


pepper

nutmeg

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Mac and cheese
    Cook the elbow macaroni during 9 minutes in salted boiling water. Melt the butter in a pan, then add all the flour at once in the pan and whisk.
  • Step 2 - Mac and cheese
    Add the milk gradually while whisking. It should thicken. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Step 3 - Mac and cheese
    Remove from heat and add the cheese. Stir well.
  • Step 4 - Mac and cheese
    Add the cooked macaroni and stir well.
  • Step 5 - Mac and cheese
    Pour the preparation in a greased mold and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • Step 6 - Mac and cheese
    Bake for 20 min at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 7 - Mac and cheese
    There you are,your mac and cheese is ready !
