What we'll be doing on our Caribbean Cruise - Day 0 - San Juan, Puerto Rico

I'm calling this Day 0 because really, we're flying most of the day today and we won't actually be on the cruise ship until tomorrow.  Day 0 for us, consists of getting up WAY too early (our flight leaves Kansas City at 5:30am and we live an hour from the airport - this means we're going to be leaving our house in Lawrence around 3am - YUCK!).  We're flying on Delta and connecting in Atlanta before landing in San Juan shortly before 3pm.  I'm interested to see how Puerto Rico celebrates Halloween since that's the day we're going to be there.  Hopefully, things with the flights will go smoothly and we'll be able to check into out hotel, the Sheraton Old San Juan when we arrive in San Juan so that Josh and I can explore a bit and then head to the pier to do some of this:

Josh got to ride a Segway in Cozumel on the beach and has wanted to do it again for a year now, so this will be his chance to ride the Segway on solid ground.  We're booked for a tour of Old San Juan through Segway Tours of San Juan and we're really looking forward to it.  I've never ridden one before, so it will be a learning experience for me.  :-)

I'm excited to be staying in the Sheraton Old San Juan.  It looks like a wonderful hotel and it's literally right across the street from our ship, so we'll be waking up on the morning of November 1st and looking out our window right at our home away from home for the next 7 days.
