Granola is the ideal breakfast companion: crunchy, delicious and filling. The problem? Commercial granolas are often too sweet or packed with additives. The solution? Homemade. And if you've got an Air Fryer, good news: no need to turn on the oven, your granola will be ready in a quarter of an hour, watch in hand.
A handful of rolled oats, a few dried fruits, a little honey or maple syrup... and you've got a golden, crunchy granola that's infinitely customizable.
Ingredients (for 4 bowls)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. honey
- 1/4 cup raisins (add after cooking)
Preparation
- Mix the flakes, almonds and seeds in a bowl.
- Add the oil and honey, mixing well to coat.
- Pour the mixture into the Air Fryer basket.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 370°F/190°C, shaking halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Leave to cool completely (this is when it gets nice and crispy), then add the dried fruit.
