Ingredients

• 3 over ripe bananas
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 c buttermilk
• 1 t vanilla
• .5 cups whole wheat flour
• 1.5 cup AP flour
• 1.5 cup old fashioned oatmeal
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 ounces chocolate chips melted
• OR
• 1 cup raisins, plumped

Preparation

• Cream butter, sugar and honey together until smooth and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
• Add dry ingredients in 3 stages, scraping down sides of bowl after each addition.
• The dough will not be very stiff, more like thick pancake batter. Top with raisins, if desired.
• Using a small cookie scoop, form cookies on a sheet tray.
• Bake at 350 for 12 minutes, or until browned on bottoms and set on top.
• Drizzle tops with melted chocolate.
