- Creamy Brownie Frosting:
In a bowl,Beat butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla until blended well. Add powdered sugar and milk; beat to spreading consistency. - Brownie:
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease 9-inch square baking pan. Melt the butter (Note : Make sure that the butter is completely melted, otherwise it will not mix in with the other ingredients). Stir together butter,sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. - Stir in nuts, if desired and spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan or Poke with a toothpick into the center of the brownie; if it comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cool it in pan for 10-15 minutes and transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Frost brownies while they are still warm. Cut into squares.
