Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
1/2 cup mung beans (washed)

a pinch of salt

water (enough to cover the mung beans)

2 pandan leaves, tied into a knot

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 cup palm sugar

2 cm ginger

Preparation

  • Cook the mung bean in boiling water until soften and the beans are cracked which will take around 45 - 50 minutes
    Add in salt and pandan leaves (or pandan essence) and let it simmers for about 10 minutes
    Pour in coconut milk and the palm sugar.
    Stir slowly while simmering.
    Serve either hot or cold.
