To temper oil - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
jeera - 1 tsp

Main ingredients:Tamarind water - 1 1/2 cup (make sure its not tangy)
Tomato -1 medium size
salt - as required
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
oil - 1 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup to adjust the tangy taste
Curry leaves or coriander leaves - to temper
Grinded powder- 1 tbsp (refer " To fry and roast" column)
Method:Take the kadai and add the ingredients given under " To fry and Roast" ,saute till dal turns semi brown off the flame allow it cool completely and grind it nicely.
Now heat the kadai again and add the oil and ghee once melts add the chopped tomato and saute till it oozes it juices, then add the Tamarind water and normal water, mixes well m then add the turmeric powder, salt, grinded powder and mix well . allow it to boil completely,

Now you can feel the aroma, and see it reduces in the level too. off the flame temper with Coriander leaves.

Now heat the kadai again and temper it with the ingredients given under " To Temper" Serve as it is or with hot rasam
Note:Since its healthy version do not any other spice powder. Just the Kandathipilli with other spices itself works fine. Tangy taste is purely your option. If u want you can make it too tangy or else just the needed one. If u want you can even add 2 tbsp of the roasted powdered. it works fine ,Rest of the powdered can be mixed with the normal rasam powder or else you can add it to your sambhar or kootu works fine.
