  • Heat oil in a pan and add tempering ingredients.
  • Add chopped spring onion, soaked chana dal, chopped green chillis and turmeric powder and stir.
  • Then add shredded cabbage. Cover and cook for 5-8 mins. Take care you do not cook the cabbage to death.
  • Garnish with cilantro or spring onion greens. Serve with Roti or a side dish with rice.
